How does online tutoring work?
During our lesson: I use zoom for the video and an excellent website called Bitpaper. It is an online, interactive whiteboard that allows me to write and draw on the board just like in a traditional classroom and also allows me to use the whole internet to add pictures, pdfs, documents or tables. It is super easy to sign into. Just click on the private link that I'll send at the start of the lesson. This allows the student to also write on the board making the lessons dynamic and interactive.
Before and after our lesson: I am always available via email and text/WhatsApp. Students can contact me at any time with quick questions making our online time more efficient. All Bitpaper pages can be saved and emailed to the student as a pdf giving them a permanent record of all work covered.
